Far East Consortium’s landmark Canary Wharf development reaches milestone

Far East Consortium (FEC) celebrated the topping out of its landmark development in Canary Wharf, Aspen at Consort Place, reaching a significant milestone for the highly-anticipated mixed-use scheme.
The 65-storey development will feature a combination of residential, retail, commercial and recreational spaces, and the company aims to redefine urban living by providing residents with an array of lifestyle amenities.
This event was attended by stakeholders from FEC and JRL Group including FEC’s managing director of global projects, Wendy Chiu and head of projects, along with JRL Group’s founder, John Reddington, and director, Kevin Keegan.
Nick Poon commented: “We are thrilled to reach this pivotal point in the construction of our landmark scheme. The ceremony marks an important milestone for the team and stakeholders involved in this transformative project and we are confident this development will contribute significantly to the thriving community.”
Designed by Pilbrow and Partners architects, once complete, Aspen will be one of the tallest residences in London, offering 502 homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments.

Aspen will feature a sky lounge, business lounge, screening room, winter garden, private dining room and a wellness suite featuring a sauna, pool and gym, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas for families. It also features a new 22-storey Dorsett Hotel, the newest addition to Dorsett Hospitality International’s growing portfolio of UK hotels. Residents at Aspen will also be able to benefit from the a la carte services that Dorsett can provide including items such as housekeeping, newspaper deliveries, babysitting and pet care services.
